Nursing Assistant Training Program

Overview

East Valley Nursing Academy is committed to providing high-quality nursing assistant training that focuses on competent and patient-centered care.

Our Nursing Assistant training program, as approved by Arizona Board of Nursing prepares students to provide quality care to residents in nursing care facilities and patients in hospital settings. Course instructions are held both in a classroom setting and in clinical facilities.

Nursing assistants serve as the "eyes and ears" of the healthcare team constantly interacting with patients more than any other member of the team. They play a crucial role in ensuring the provision of competent and safe patient-centered care by utilizing acquired knowledge and skills.

Our program is based on Arizona Board of Nursing guidelines to provide students with the necessary skills for an entry level position in healthcare. The continuous increase in demand for CNAs grants access to numerous job opportunities in hospitals, nursing facilities, home health and more. Additionally, becoming a certified nursing assistant is an excellent foundation in pursuing a future career in nursing.

Upon completion, students receive a Certificate of Completion and will be prepared to take the State Certification Exam.
